Kim P. Bartholomew is an abstract artist residing in St. Simons Island, Ga. Kim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology & a Specialist of Education in School Counseling. She spent 15 years of her career in these disciplines. Kim has merged her passions and launched a path of creating her own works of art as a form of therapy for the soul – for herself and the viewers.
As an abstract artist, her work in steeped in patterns of stylized silhouettes, curvilinear visual rhythm, and symbolic (rather than realistic) colors and shapes. She works in a variety of media creating series of themes to express what is felt beyond what is seen.
Original works, commissioned pieces, giclée's, prints, cards, and related products displaying Kim’s art can be observed and obtained through Kim's website, social media outlets, and at local exhibits. A portion of all Kim’s art sales is donated to Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (www.fsdb.k12.fl.us) where her niece attends school in St. Augustine Florida.
